Welcome to a Hearing on Digital Integration in the Nordic Region

The Nordic network for Lifelong Learning is hosting a stakeholder-meeting om on digital inclusion and integration.

NLL’s 2025–2027 Focus: Digital Inclusion

In the coming years, NLL will prioritize supporting organizations that promote digital inclusion, especially among immigrants. This includes raising awareness among support staff and frontline workers about digital barriers, gathering actionable knowledge, identifying structural gaps, and highlighting promising practices that can be scaled across the region.

This hearing is a direct continuation of the discussions initiated at the NLL stakeholder meeting in Aarhus (May 2025). In Helsinki, we will build on these insights by focusing on key challenges—and together, we will select one strategic area to guide the NLL’s collaborative work through 2027.

We welcome a broad range of stakeholders to contribute their perspectives and expertise, including:

  • Experts in lifelong learning, education policy, workforce development, integration, and digital skills
  • Representatives from public agencies, research institutions, educational organizations, and civil society
  • Nordic networks and initiatives working with integration
  • Practitioners and social partners engaged in digital skills training and inclusion

This hearing provides a platform to:

  • Exchange knowledge and good practices with peers across the Nordic region
  • Define concrete work areas for 2025–2027 to enhance digital integration
  • Explore cross-sectoral solutions to current challenges and learning needs
  • Strengthen regional collaboration and expand your professional network
  • Wednesday, October 22, 09:00–15:30
  • Lapinlahden Lähde / Omenapuutalo, Helsinki, Finland
  • NLL covers travel and accommodation for invited participants. Pre-approval by the NLL coordinator is required for reimbursements.
