Validation of general employability competences

Steinunn Björk Jónatansdóttir is a department manager and a guidance practitioner at MSS lifelong learning center in Iceland. Steinunn has extensive experience in coordinating validation of transferable skills for unemployed people and in rehabilitation. She has also written a master’s thesis on the subject. MSS lifelong learning center is located in Reykjanes – southern part of Iceland.

Fjóla María Lárusdóttir is a specialist at the Education and Training Service Centre (ETSC) in Iceland. Fjóla has coordinated projects focusing on developing validation and guidance processes through various national and international cooperation. The ETSC is a center supporting quality adult learning in cooperation with 14 regional lifelong learning centers.
